ChordCast 0.9.9b released ! (December 23, 2002)

Welcome to the ChordCast website

What is ChordCast ?

ChordCast is a program written to help musicians creating and printing chords.

Why using it ?

For music teachers and beginners

To create a selection of chords to learn quickly.

For composers and interprets

To build banks of chords associated with songs easily.

To give an alternate notation

When using a notation like "(x20x7)", it can be ambiguous in the case of complex and unconventional chords which are easier to understand with a graphical representation.

What do I need to run it?

It is written entirely in Java, using Swing for the graphical interface. Consequently, it requires a JRE (Java Runtime Environment) version >=1.4 to run.
